  Good Cantonese restaurant!
  Free soup at the beginning and dessert at the end. Liked both.
  Ordered a 4lbs lobster fried style(bifengtang), a beef with onion on the iron plate, a mixed vegetables, eggplant with garlic sauce. Nothing disappoints. And we enjoyed the lobster a lot! They showed you the live lobster before cooking it!
  Got daily specialties for live seafood, so we tried one today, steamed with black bean sauce. Very fresh and fatty, and the sauce accompanied it pretty well.
  The portion was large. Six adults plus a kid got pretty full for five dishes, without rice. A nice feast for sure.
  Service was good, no complaint.

  I'm a regular customer to Golden Fountain, I work right next door so I have many times been there for staff lunch however...
  
  Honestly had enough of this restaurants, the terrible service and the mediocre food and just the overall attitude the servers seem to have everytime I go.
  
  They're also bias and a bit racist, The service is tottally different when I come with my Chinese Family as supposed to me coming with my Canadian raised friends. It's embarrassing.
  
  I've been coming here with family since i was a kid, but over the course of our journey its become worse and worse year by year. They've removed many things from the menu that used to make this place great, they've also increased prices to the point where people don't order anything but the same old things. The food has also started to have a strange taste, fried foods get soggy quickly, organ meats have a stench on them as if they no longer take as much care as they used to with the place. If you order one things they don't even arrange anything nicely for you.
  
  It's the service however that's absolutely unacceptable. Forgetting the instances that they PURPOSELY over charged me for bbq pork because i was a foreigner (they charge me 12 dollars because its "pork belly" when obviously its not, even when theres a 5.5$ special before 4pm) they seem to think it's perfectly fine to ignore us or pretend we are not waiting for their service. They would prefer to serve us last, if we needed anything its because the table beside us needed something as well. We always tipped our service, even when we did not get service.
  
  I have ran out of patience with this establishment. I really do hope that if they are not serious about running this place that they hand it over to other people that do. I am heartbroken that they are nothing like what they used to be when I was a child.

  I am definitely not returning to this establishment after my girlfriend and I had brunch here. Since the change of management and removal of cart service. It is half assed managed and the food quality has gone down the drain.
  
  I introduced my girlfriend to this location when we first started seeing each other. It was decent, not terribly bad. My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the spot for large gathering for our friends.
  
  Now everyone just avoids this place. Overly priced, and not worth a penny. The food comes out less than okay to serve and cold, sometimes not even edible.
  
  Wouldn't be surprise if this location closes down in the near future. Plenty of new dim sum establishments opening and competitive restaurants are keeping up with the quality and demands.

  I've been to this location a number of times but this time, it was the worst of all experiences.
  
  During peak hours, surprisingly it was not busy. We were seated quickly. They were not however doing cart service any longer. We were handed a sheet of paper with limited options compared to other dim sum restaurants to pick and choose.
  
  The service was horrible from the start to end. Rude staff members. Horrible management. Poor customer service skills.
  
  The food quality has gone down. The meat balls were hard to eat. The shrimp spring rolls were not cooked with a crispy exterior, under cooked actually. The fried dough rice roll came out cold. The shrimp rice roll was too thick. The chicken feet and pork dumplings were whatever.
  
  I've mentioned to one of the management that our fried dough rice rolls were cold and she asked me if I wanted to heat it up in the microwave... what? It came out cold and it tasted not fresh. She didn't comprehend the fact it came out cold and thought we had it left it on the table sitting. She cancelled this item from the bill. She might as well do the rest cause the food was so shit.
  
  We didn't even finish our food and didn't take them to go because it was that bad.
  
  The boyfriend went to cash and the lady who was cashing him out kept apologizing for some reason. She rang up our bill and handed him the debit machine. As he was punching away; for some apparent reason she got him to stop. She thought she have miscalculated. I noticed there was a different bill on top of ours. I pointed it out. She bashfully said sorry, the total was correct. Almost got scammed.
  
  Cash and debit only. Go at your own disappointment and regret.

  Had a terrible recent experience here recently with my boyfriend and his family.
  I was minding my own business and drinking some Chinese soup. All of a sudden, I see a SPIDER slowly come down right in front of my face on its web. It wasn't just a small spider... it was quite big! Of course, I quickly stand up and freak the #%$* out (internally - keep in mind I am with my boyfriend's family so I needed to keep my composure). Needless to say, I'll be forever a little terrified eating here.
  
  Food wise is below average. It's okay.
  If you eat dim sum here, don't get the mango pudding. On multiple occasions, it tastes like there's expired funk to it.
